Rebecca Bishop

Technical Assistance Provider
Rebecca is the problem gambling prevention program manager and technical assistance provider for MassTAPP. In this role she coordinates problem gambling prevention activities and provides technical assistance. This role augments Rebecca’s 10 years of prevention experience, during which she worked in substance use and mental health prevention programs in the Boston Public Schools and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, in addition to hospital-based violence prevention programs at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Boston Medical Center. Before joining EDC, Rebecca served at the Boston Public Health Commission as the director of community mobilization and prevention in the Bureau of Recovery Services. Her role focused on administering and implementing substance abuse prevention grants, managing community partnerships, supporting public health accreditation, and facilitating racial justice and health equity trainings. Rebecca received her BA from Post University and her MSW from Boston College.
