Technical Assistance Provider
Rebecca is the problem gambling program manager for MassTAPP. In this role she coordinates program gambling prevention activities, which currently include completing regional planning processes in the Western Massachusetts and Greater Boston regions and providing technical assistance in the Southeast region. Since the beginning of her career, Rebecca has worked for organizations that promote strength-based programming and resiliency for youth and young adults. Since moving to Boston in 2006, Rebecca has worked in administrative and direct service levels of mental health programs in the Boston Public School system, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and hospital-based violence intervention programs at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Boston Medical Center. Previously, Rebecca served at the Boston Public Health Commission as the director of community mobilization and prevention in the Bureau of Recovery Services. Her role focused on administering and implementing substance abuse prevention grants, managing community partnerships, supporting public health accreditation and facilitating racial justice and health equity trainings. Rebecca received her BA from Post University and her MSW from Boston College.
